my showroom...

welcome to my showroom..to understand whats happening here you have to visit the showroom, i try to keep it full of things, but very quickly things finish and i have to keep up.. dont you just love the wall.. idid it myself.

my 1st entry..

..now that i think about it, it really did all begin when i was little.. as far back as i can remember i was always drawing and making things.. Australia was the ultimate place to grow up..its so arty.
...now im living in athens, greece and i have been here for the passed 13 yrs.. im full greek.
Ive studied fine arts and worked teaching history of art and drawing for 3 yrs, but that didnt feel right..
So..i began selling, the jewelery i was making.. it started to take off.. & soon i was in my own studio working to supply stores in athens and on the islands. i now own my label KATERINA FILIPPOU and have been officially on the market for 5 yrs.. at this point im more into clothing design/decoration rather than jewelery. I change nearly everything i could get my hands on..i work really fast and im a real perfectionist with everything i make, it all has to be my work..this is why i dont make mass amounts.. & that is why every single piece is different..i love to experiment & even though i make many different things, they have a style that connects them.
