art & fashion

Im mixing the 2 things that i love (art & fashion) this season and the result is great, im having alot of fun and each piece is so different to the other. Im using water resistant acrylics for fabrics, my work looks more crafty and its a totally different effect then printing. The peace symbol is a favorite followed by the heart (which is my favorite!) and star design. I dont pre- plan anything im making i just put down the fabrics, dip my brush into the paint and start splashing it on.

Helena Paparizou

The rope belts i made for the summer of 06 collection were worn by 4 male dancers, dancing with Helena Paparizou on the Eurovision presentation of her song for Greece. I didnt know about it till a friend saw on television. It was a surprize!! (May 06)

accessories

This summer im really in the mood for wearing bright colours, they're going to look great with a tan. I have more inspiration in the summer so this season i want to do as many things as possible, Im re doing army belts, bangels and long charm necklaces and since i cut my hair short and i like short hair with earrings, im making earrings also for the first time.. the reason ive avoided earrings all this time was cause i couldnt stand making 2 same things, so i made them different from each other, the way ive made the flip flops 2 different flip flops in a pair.

kiddy flip flops..

i love shoes! if i could design them i would.. ive actually tried decorating shoes, this season ive been busy with a collection of children flip flops. My work is ideal for children its all colourful and cute and really girly. I have a huge order for these flips thats keeping me busy at the moment. Heres a sneak preview.

This season ive started working for my spring collection since February, the heat doesnt start till May but we have that on/off, t-shirt/long sleeve weather till then, so i started off with light long sleeves.
